BEFL completed the first stage of a project to develop the business of an agricultural group of companies in the Rostov region with 18,000 hectares of farmland. The project included developing more economically viable and soil-friendly crop rotation; restructuring companies of the group; optimizing and centralizing the management of geographically separated divisions. The effect on the performance of the holding proved to be more than positive. One of the group's farms was chosen as a pilot farm of the Federal Science Centre “Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Economics”. In order to acquire knowledge of the newest agricultural technologies and agricultural equipment, as well as share their insight on modern agricultural trends, BEFL employees, who are working on the project in the Rostov region, attended the International exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment and materials for crop production YugAgro and the International Specialized Exhibition of agricultural machinery AGROSALON-2018. During the exhibitions,BEFL experts learned about new technologies of drying and storing grain; modern software for planning and monitoring field work, collecting and processing information about production processes in agriculture; technologies for growing high-margin products and irrigation trends. An assortment line of self-propelled machinery and towing equipment was selected for the Rostov holding, including both imported and domestic products.
